Jimmy Kimmel Addressed Whether He Was Behind The Viral Dennis Quaid Meltdown Video

Yesterday a video showing actor Dennis Quaid going on an epic rant on the set of a show or movie that would have made Christian Bale blush lit up the Internet. There was much speculation that the whole thing was a hoax, set up to promote a new movie or TV show. Orrrr that it was once again the work of serial prankster Jimmy Kimmel.

Kimmel heard all that speculation and took to the stage Tuesday night to discuss whether or not he was actually involved. Among the things he had to say about were…

“I watched that video last night about 14 times, although my favorite part was this: ‘I can’t even get a line out with Dopey the Dick whispering in my ear.’ For the next eight years, I’m planning to call everyone Dopey the Dick. I might have a T-shirt printed up. I watched this a bunch of times last night, and when I woke up this morning, I was being blamed for it. There are two dozen articles online, thousands of comments, suggesting that this is a prank video and I am responsible for it.”

“I have to say, it’s disappointing. Because you play like 50 pranks and all of a sudden people don’t trust you anymore.”

So I guess Jimmy Kimmel isn’t behind it, right? I’m still not 100% convinced.

All that being said, I am pretty sure that this is still all a setup for something because TMZ caught up with Dennis Quaid yesterday on the street leaving a media event for a new show he has coming out on Crackle and his reactions kind of give him away.
