Jennifer Lawrence is on top of the world.
But it hasn't always been this way. It was only TWO YEARS AGO that no one had ever heard of her. Then she appeared in "Winter's Bone" and, well, the rest is history. Now she's an Oscar-winning Best Actress at the age of 22. She deserves to relax in Hawaii with that "suspicious" looking cigarette.
True story: Before Lawerence's meteoric rise to fame, three years ago, I had an opportunity to interview Lawerence. I was extremely busy that day with a bunch of stupid stuff that's now insignificant (BroBible at the time was still a small, homespun operation) and declined. That was dumb of me. Boy, did I drop the ball (I'll write more about this in another blog post soon). Three years later, it's crazy to think that BroBible could have interviewed an Oscar-winner actress we'll likely never have access to again. She's now the most endearing actress of a generation. Yeah, I have regrets.
Anyway, this video from W Magazine is now making its way around the web. Lynn Hirschberg's Screen Tests is an ongoing W Magazine video series with Hollywood stars and starlets discussing their careers. In Jennifer Lawrence's from two years ago, she discusses how much she loves "Step Brothers" and quotes the famous "Aspen" line from "Dumb and Dumber."
In otherwords, she's always been awesome.
