This 25-Year-Old Made $7.5 Million In ONE YEAR Making Videos On YouTube

You either know who YouTube phenom PewDiePie is OR you’re an old geezer who think you can’t be considered a celebrity if you’re only a star on the Internet. At the end of the day, however, PewDiePie is one of the most popular and successful Internet celebrities in the world. South Park understands this. As do his 37,730,276 subscribers in his so-called “Bro Army” on the most popular video site in the world. He’s the single most-watched star on YouTube. And it’s all for ridiculous videos about video games, like this one:

How much does PewDiePie make? Felix Kjellberg a.k.a. the 25-year-old behind PewDiePie is definitely getting rich from his character. PewDiePie is making a lot. Like… A WHOLE lot. Like, way more than Lindsay Lohan annually A LOT.

Last year he took home $7.5 million, according to financial documents obtained by a Swedish newspaper. Via:

A report from Swedish newspaper Expressen, as spotted by Neogaf and reported by Destructoid, says that Felix Kjellberg’s company PewDiePie Productions made in excess of $7.45m in 2014.

Last year it was reported that the star was making in the region of $4m a year, pointing to decent growth for the Swede in the last 12 months.

Going from $4 million a year to $7.5 million a year seems like a pretty nice chunk of change for getting your online Bro-fist on.

UPDATE: Today PewDiePie responded to this story. His response is amazing:
