Puff Daddy, in addition to being that kid from School of Rock's favorite music artist, is scheduled to appear on the upcoming season of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Sean “Diddy” Combs is set to appear in the upcoming season It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The hip-hop mogul and occasional actor’s most recent comedic role was in the 2010 feature Get Him to the Greek.
Details on Combs’ character are under wraps, but he’s scheduled to start filming his guest spot on the FX comedy on Monday.
As THR notes, Combs' last role was "Get Him to the Greek," where his sole role was to mindf*ck Russell Brand into making it to the Greek. To paraphrase Uproxx's Danger Guerrero, Diddy was funny as sh*t in this, and could definitely add something more than FX having commercials showing an "eh" joke that's somewhat swept under the rug by viewers because HOLY SH*T DIDDY. As someone who initially missed the Sunny boat, but is now slowly working himself in, this may be slight motivation up the ante.
New season premieres October 11th, which is firmly in "holy sh*t that's actually not that far from now" territory.
