He's baaaaack.
The comedian that won't go away will forcibly invade your television yet again tonight, this time with a reality dating show. "Take Me Out" will premiere on FOX, and it couldn't sound less appealing:
The new dating show starts with 30 single women who are lined up at podiums. A bachelor is introduced for inspection by each of the women. If they don't like the guy, they press a button and the light goes out on their podium. If she likes him, the light stays on. The final round is the guy's choice: he poses a question to two finalists and chooses a winner who he then asks out on a date.
This sounds even worse than MTV's "Next," which was so hor-awful that it inspired Aziz Ansari to create one of the better stand-up bits in recent memory. The internet unfortunately does not have video of this (get your act together, people), but we'll settle for some footage from the highly questionable MTV series itself.
Like "Next," "Take Me Out" will probably be sh*ttily addicting to the point where changing the channel is not an option. All in all, almost certain to be the type of show that questions the validity of our species' existence.
