Anyone who's seen 6 Days to Air knows that South Park operates on a legendarily tight schedule. With the occasional exception of the season premiere, most episodes are plotted, animated, and aired in just six days. There is little room for error. But the quick schedule allows for shit like "About Last Night," a 2008 episode that dramatized Obama's election... which occured the night before.
Unfortunately—and this was probably bound to happen eventually—the time frame backfired this week. South Park's studio was hit with a power outage last night, shutting down the animation, editing, and sound computers and causing tonight's episode "Goth Kids 3: Dawn of the Posers" to be postponed until next Wednesday. Our No. 1 all-time episode "Scott Tenorman Must Die" will air instead tonight, with live-tweeting on the official account.
Here are the dudes Trey Parker and Matt Stone in the dark. They look upset.
And if you need something to bide you over... The best of Randy Marsh just happens to be below.
