Have you seen those ridiculous Chanel No. 5 ads with Brad Pitt looking off to the camera and talking about things totally irrelevant to selling perfume? The ones that would make his "Fight Club" character Tyler Durden punch someone in the face? Meet the reason why he's probably doing them.
"World War Z," loosely based off the 2006 book of the same name, has cost Pitt's production company upwards of $150 million to release, and the filming was reportedly such a mess that he and his director, Marc Forster, aren't even talking anymore. It's also gone through so many script rewrites that the plot now—Pitt is a "U.N. employee racing against time and fate, as he travels the world trying to stop the outbreak of a deadly Zombie pandemic"—doesn't resemble the book's anymore, except for, you know, the people-eating zombies.
But, odds are, you don't really care about all of Pitt's money going down the drain. The dude will still be rich, successful, and married to sex goddess Angelina Jolie at the end of the day. How does his movie look? "Entertainment Tonight" will carry the full trailer tomorrow, but here's a first look at what we should expect come June 21, 2013:
What are your thoughts? Excited or just zombied out?
