Arrested Development, which returns on May 26—that's a Sunday, so cancel your plans now—just released the first scene from its new season online over at Entertainment Weekly. Previously only devoured by critics at SXSW and the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour, the clip features an under-house-arrest Lucille Bluth utilizing a forever put-down-upon Buster as a way to smoke outdoors without actually going outdoors. The mama bird-baby bird trick, if you will.
What's going on here? Well, incest has always been a weirdly common theme in Arrested Development (think Michael singing "Afternoon Delight" with Maeby, Maeby and George Michael's relationship, Lucille and Buster), but this scene, as you'll see, kind of takes things to a whole different level. It's awkward, and it's funny. You can watch it here.
