If you’d told me when I first started watching this video that one of these two fighters was about to throw a girl to the ground and proceed to get stomped out by everybody who witnessed it, I would’ve bet my life on Shirtless Guy. Real curveball here.
While some people might think that watching a guy get stomped out to within an inch of his life is “disturbing,” I find this scene to be rather inspiring. A bunch of drunk idiots have taken to the streets, presumably after a long night of boozing. What these two brutes are bickering about, we’ll never know, but for whatever reason, they don’t seem to be very pleased with one another.
The two combatants are clearly a bit manic and fired up, but the rest of the group appears to simply want to keep the peace. No one really seems to be taking sides, they just want these two idiots to cut it out. All of that changes when one fighter breaks a cardinal rule by pushing a girl to the ground.
Before she even hits the pavement, all the onlookers band together, and in an uplifting moment of unity between strangers, beat this guy mercilessly. You read a lot of news stories on a daily basis that make you question humanity, but it’s great to see that violence towards women is still generally not tolerated.
I also love the camera guy, the biggest hardo there, who coaches the attackers with gems like “drop his ass” and “WORLDSTAR!” Had I been there, that surely would’ve been my role in the melee as well.
