Dog the Bounty Hunter has captured plenty of small-time drug dealers throughout his his career, but he’ll leave the hunt for one of the most dangerous men in the world to people more capable than him.
The reality TV star admitted to FOX 411 that Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, head of Mexico’s Sinaloa Cartel, who escaped from prison recently was “out of his league”.
He probably would be out of my league…
“In order to take him down, number one, you better have a fully automatic weapon. With my weapon, you have to get really close to him and you couldn’t get that close to him because he probably has five or six guys with him at all times.
“Also, there would have to be two or three of you to take him down because he is going to shoot it out next time. Last time, I heard they surrounded him and gave him a chance to come out.”
But aside from the weapons and manpower needed take down a drug lord like a “El Chapo”, Dog also has other reasons to stay out of Mexico. In the early 00’s, Dog was previously arrested in Mexico for apprehending a convicted American rapist. Bounty Hunting is 100 percent illegal in Mexico.
“I have learned to stay in my own country,” Dog told Fox 411 “You can’t even talk about arresting a guy in Mexico.”
Probably a good idea to stay away Dog.
