One of the initial inspirations for the Book of Mormon was the South Park episode “All About Mormons.” The singing story of the history of Joseph Smith, as told by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, set the foundation for the smash Broadway hit.
So, it’s only fitting that someone animated the opening song from the musical in the style of the infamous cartoon. Instead of being set in Provo, Utah, the Mormon missionaries traipse through South Park, meeting all our favorite characters.
I haven’t seen Book of Mormon and still thought this was delightful.
