Sandy, screw ya! If you're from the Northeast and have a sense of humor, you probably appreciated the hell out of Adam Sandler taking the stage for tonight's 12/12/12 Sandy Relief Concert at Madison Square Garden. Jets shirt and all, it was a good moment. But, of course, some people were offended.
Some fuddy duddies didn't like how Sandler chose to parody the great Leonard Cohen song "Hallelujah" for his very Sandler-esque tribute to the Tri-State.
Sorry if you couldn't laugh at it, haters. Even you, Brian Williams. I thought his performance with Paul Shaffer was hilarious.
Before you watch, a reminder to donate to Sandy Relief through the 12/12/12 concert. Here's a link to the organization's website.
And I stand by this statement:
probably gonna lose twitter followers from the snark crowd, but the world needs more live adam sandler these days. that is all.

Anyone else remember this from the 9/11 Benefit Concert?
