We told you that A Tribe Called Quest were reuniting for a one-time performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and see we didn’t lie. ATCQ, which is definitely in the discussion for greatest rap group of all-time, performed an interactive rendition of “Can I Kick It” with The Roots on Friday night.
“Can I Kick It?” is the third single from Quest’s debut album People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm which debuted 25 years ago. Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and Jarobi White haven’t done a show together since breaking up in 2013 when the group was Kanye West’s opening act.
