Let me be clear: I love Shark Week. I have for years. Like, before Tracy Morgan said, "Live every week like it's Shark Week" in first season of "30 Rock." But, this era of 24/7 Facebook updates and YouTube rappers, it seems like a new pop-culture tribute to Shark Week bites its way across the Internet almost every single hour. It's almost as if the popular masses are more obsessed with a week in the doldrums of summer dedicated to sharks than actual sharks themselves. Maybe it's just the angler in me, but that's kind of concerning, especially since there are some serious issues concerning the beasts of the ocean. Anyway, this past Sunday a white troupe called "PropaneLV" threw on their favorite pair of douchy sunglasses to pay tribute to Shark Week with their "wicked rhymes and flow" over the "Tupac Back" instrumental. It's also worth pointing your attention to the vest the one dude is wearing. While we're at it, what's up with the gargoyle in the middle of the couch? Sure, it's a parody and we're all about exulting Shark Week, but this video just makes us kind of sad for what The Best Week of the Year has become.
