What's the logical college response to a school canceling class due to Hurricane Sandy? Throwing a Hurricane Party, of course. But "rioting" like the Duke Dogs did down in JMU? That just doesn't make a lick of sense...

Sent via a tipster, the YouTube uploader of this video dubbed this to be "a riot." It is not. For the most part, it's just college kids getting together in a public place and having a harmless good time just after the school's administration cancelled classes. Because: College, why else? The video didn't bother me until I got to the 14 second mark, where it looks like some idiot is trying to break a campus light pole. Nothing "bro" about property damage to an institution you're paying to attend, Bro. It defies logic. You want to cause destruction to your campus all because you get a day off from school? Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Remember what happened at JMU's BlocParty in 2010 that forced a huge campus crackdown? Not telling anyone what to do, but probably a good idea to chill with the "riots."
