  • This. THIS. #1 rule of college: No one gives a FUCK about high school.

So this thread on Reddit's r/AskReddit is going crazy viral right now in college circles. If you're heading to college next fall, bookmark it. It offers thousands and thousands of tips for college students, by college students. There are some obvious preachy ones, like "always go to class because college is expensive!" and "do your homework!," along with some simple tricks of the trade that most intelligent people learn in high school (i.e. changing periods and commas to font size 14 or 16 to fill in space on a term paper... the oldest trick in the book).

I combed through the thread and mined out 14 pieces of advice for college students that might not be as obvious, but are still plenty helpful. Call it college lifehacks, if you will. The one that desperately needs to be added is this: Don't be the proverbial "THAT GUY" who raises a hand and asks a question right before a class is about to end. Everyone -- and I mean EVERYONE --  hates that bastard.

Bros, what pieces of advice would you add? Let's get some conversation going in the comments.
