VIDEO: ‘Life of a South Carolina Fratter,’ As Performed By a South Carolina Fratter

A tipser just sent us this song / video titled 'Life of a South Carolina Fratter.' The snappy song explores the same subject matter that a gazillion crappy, talentless no-name rappers explore on a routine basis: Pounding nattys, hooking up with 'slampieces,' fratstar college life, etc, etc, etc. He's just going about his business with a down-home, rootsy twist. This new artist performs the song solo, accompanying himself on what appears to be a Martin backpacker guitar. Maybe the studio version will work in a little pedal steel guitar into the tune? Anyway, here's a little sample of the first verse:

"I was walking through the village with my two best dudes

Trying to slay some sorositutes

We were looking extra fratty

Backwards hat and pocket tees

We were rocking Polo chino shorts well above the knee

Drinking on the grassy knoll tossing the frisbee

While I'm waiting on a pledge to get my food"

Let's listen, shall we?

No word on when his mix tape comes out. Thoughts? Does the kid have potential or should he just quite right now. Shout 'em
