Absolutely terrifying situation at the University of Alabama on late Sunday night/early Monday morning, putting the school in lockdown. A threatening comment left on a sorority’s YouTube bid day video started making the rounds by a poster using the pseudonym Arthur Pendragon. According to the Crimson White, University of Alabama police placed all-girls dorm Tutwiler Hall on lockdown and asked the residents on sorority row to stay inside their houses. The all-clear has been lifted, but it certainly makes for a tense start to the week.
Here is the scary threat that is allegedly making the rounds, according to TFM and Twitter. It’s important to note that AL.com’s Tuscaloosa reporter Melissa Brown says that the authenticity hasn’t been confirmed as of yet.:
Obviously this is incredibly concerning. Let’s hope this (a. isn’t a prank from some troll college douchebags who should know better and (b. UA police can track down the origin of the threat and keep everything under control.
