Gunman Who Killed Seven at UCSB Made a Sickening Video Explaining He Did It Because Girls Wouldn’t Sleep With Him

The massacre that happened at UCSB on Friday night is absolutely horrific. Before going on a shooting rampage resulting in six people shot dead, the shooter — 22-year-old Elliot Rodger — posted a sickening YouTube video hours before explaining his motives.  Rodgers was a student Santa Barbara City College student, not a UCSB student. In the  disturbing video, via TMZ and Twitter, Rodgers talks about his “retribution” for being lonely and lashes out at women because they would not have sex with him. It’s absolutely chilling to watch.

It’s absolutely senseless and horrific, nothing short of the mind of a monster. May those impacted by such cruel awfulness someday get peace.

UPDATE 12:39 EST: YouTube appears to have taken the original video down, however it’s popped up on other news-related channels.  The LA Times captured a handful of snippets from his six-minute rant:

“I will be a god compared to you. You will all be animals. You are animals, and I will slaughter you like animals. I hate all of you. Humanity is a disgusting, wretched, depraved species,” he says.

“Yes, after I have annihilated every single girl in the sorority house I’ll take to the streets of Isla Vista and slay every single person I see there.”

“I’ll take great pleasure in slaughtering all of you. You will finally see that I am in truth the superior…”

Police say the shooter was driving a black BMW. Here’s a picture Rodgers uploaded to Facebook matching the description.
