Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy said some poorly received things this past week about gay marriage and the United States "shaking its fist at God," whatever the hell that means. Much of the backlash to the comments has focused on his closed-on-Sunday fried chicken outposts, and calls for boycotts are everywhere. Including on many college campuses.
Chick-fil-A, of course, has a huge college presence, with a good chunk of its 1,600 locations nationwide situated on university campuses. You can probably see where this is going: Take college kids' tendency to protest + Cathy's comments, and you get a rash of petitions and editorials calling for the chain's ouster. We've put together a handy list to see if your school's Chick-fil-A is in danger of getting kicked off campus.
- Duke University
- Indiana University
- Gainesville State College

- And, of course, the cities of Boston, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.
