Remember That Ohio State Student Who Ran On The Field? Well, He Lost His Scholarship

This past Saturday, 21-year-old Ohio State student Anthony Wunder made the fateful decision to run on the field of the Horseshoe. He was hilariously body-slammed by Ohio State Coach Anthony Schlegel. A fourth-year engineering student, Wunder is now charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing. In addition to what is probably going to be a mark on his permanent record, he is also losing his scholarship at Ohio State. Whoops! Via Huffington Post:

A student who ran onto the field during an Ohio State football game and was body-slammed by a coach is losing his scholarship amid his court case.

Defense attorney Mark Collins says officials on Tuesday started removing 21-year-old Anthony Wunder from the Evans Scholars program, which covers tuition and housing for former golf caddies.

The most important thing I got out of this entire news story is that there’s a scholarship for former golf caddies. I had NO IDEA, but a couple people in the office have heard of it or know people who have gotten it. There’s a website for it and everything. This is all the more reason to work as a caddy in high school — you can literally get a your expensive-ass college education paid for by being a caddy. Literally the best job for a high school Bro ever.

Here’s the hit, because it will never get old:
