Jim Carrey Gave an Enlightening Graduation Speech at a Small College in Iowa

Did you know Jim Carrey is a Hindu? Neither did I until today, when I learned he delivered the commencement address at a small Hindu college in Iowa to 285 graduating students. The school was the Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, where they practice Transcendental Meditation.

The highlight, bar none, is this little Brotip Carrey left to enlighten young minds about life:

“I learned many great lessons from my father, not the least of which, was that you can fail at what you don’t want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love.”

Damn. That’s deep. And awesome. Grok on it for a while.
