Fraternity That Allegedly Gave Johnny Knoxville Ecstasy Banned From Drinking

Almost a year ago today, we reported on TMZ’s reporting of Johnny Knoxville’s speculation that he got slipped ecstasy at a Sigma Alpha Epsilon party at the University of Arizona.

This week, the university suspended the fraternity from being involved in activities where alcohol is present after an investigation into the chapter found allegations of illicit drinking and hazing.

The investigation stemmed not from the alleged dosing of the Jackass star, but rather repeated alcohol violations. The fraternity had already been prohibited from having more than one formal event a semester where alcohol was present, a rule SAE (ha!) apparently didn’t follow.

The university did not elaborate on the possible incidents of hazing.

Until SAE formally responds to the allegations and a hearing is held, the fraternity is banned from any event that involves alcohol.

As for the Knoxville allegations, the school found no proof it occurred. But, come on.

SAE has already been in the news this year, after it banned the pledge process nationwide in an attempt to curb hazing.
