Fenway Park to Install Sci-Fi ‘Bottoms Up’ Beer Pouring System To Get Fans Drunker Faster

As a Boston native residing in NYC I often find the need to defend my home city from haters and those that are just jealous their sports teams aren’t as good, and their quarterback isn’t banging Giselle. But those are just a couple of the awesome things that come from my fair city. With Harvard and MIT in the mix there’s a solid amount of innovation (birthplace of facebook, in case you forgot), and Bostonians know a good thing when they see one. So, behold Bottoms Up. Fenway is installing the new beer draft system which utilizes a magnetic disc that flips open when the cup is placed on the tap. It can pour as many as 56 beers a minute, shrinking pain-in-the-ass beer lines. It also perfect pour every time (since removes the human error element). Check out a nifty video of Bottoms Up beer pouring thingamabob at work (not the Trey Songz / Nicki Minaj song) after the jump.
