College Uses Strippers As Admissions Officers; Surely Nothing Could Go Wrong, Right?

We’ve heard stories about colleges using “unique” tactics in order to try to recruit students to their schools, but using strippers as admissions officers? That’s pure genius. I don’t understand how it could have not ended well.

A for-profit Florida college used exotic dancers as admissions officers, falsified documents and coached students to lie on financial forms as it fraudulently obtained millions of dollars in federal money, according to a federal lawsuit filed in Miami.

On at least one of its seven campuses, FastTrain College “purposely hired attractive women and sometimes exotic dancers and encouraged them to dress provocatively while they recruited young men in neighborhoods to attend FastTrain,” according to an ongoing civil lawsuit.

Oh, that’s how.

The Florida school is also accused of falsifying high school diplomas for students who didn’t have them and falsifying attendance records and backdating enrollment dates so they could collect taxpayer dollars for first-time students who didn’t attend the minimum 30 days to qualify for student aid.

All of this really just leads to one major question: why the fuck would anyone try to get a degree from a school named FastTrain College?
