College Kids: Wanna Intern for LeBron James?

Alright, here's how I'm going to redeem myself: Delivering to you a truly prime, grade-A internship opportunity that makes working for Goldman or Donda look like a summer digging ditches. LeBron James is looking for a college intern. And his Facebook announcement only has 4,700 likes.

What do you need to work for LeBron this summer or fall? An interest in “online content development and digital sports marketing,” residency in Ohio, Florida, or New York, the ability to flop, 10 available hours a week, and a fluency in Spanish. (Google Translate will probably work.)

Compensation, however, wasn't mentioned by King James. ABC delivered a little outrage at that today.

The deadline to apply is June 4 at 10 a.m. ET.

Requests for comment to James’ publicist and LeBronJames.com were not immediately returned.

The job description does not specify financial remuneration.

Meanwhile, the power forward of the Miami Heat is the second-highest paid U.S. athlete. He earned $56.5 million in the last year, $17.5 million of which was his salary and $39 million of which came from endorsements, according to Sports Illustrated. Included in his endorsement contracts are deals with Nike, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s and Samsung.
