Does anyone really remember Freshmen orientation? There are parts that probably stick in your mind, but for the most part, the first half of Freshmen year is probably a blur.
Lem Turner is a freshmen at Ball State University and she’s never going to forget. Not only did she get introduced to her entire class at one pep rally but she sank a half-court shot to win tuition for an entire semester.
Not only did Lem nail the shot but SWOOSH nothing but net. No backboard. Now, no tuition. Plus EVERYONE is going to remember his name for the next four years.
