How is it even possible that Mandy Moore is only 29? It seems like eons ago that we were infatuated with her, Britney and Christina all at the same time. Let’s take a look back at Mandy’s career in pictures and see what she’s up to today.
It was in 1999 that Mandy Moore caught our eye with her debut single “Candy” and her album So Real. By 2003, Mandy had already released four albums and her music career was starting to die down. Her fifth album Wild Hope, in 2007, generated very little in the way of sales, and in 2009 her sixth album, Amanda Leigh, sold only about 100,00 copies.
In the meantime, Moore had delved into acting and scored her first starring role in the 2002 film A Walk to Remember. Several nondescript films later and she is probably best known to a whole new group of people as the voice of Rapunzel in the animated film Tangled, as well as for her songs in the movie, one of which won a Grammy. In 2012, Moore stated that she was working on another album, supposed to be released sometime this year, but so far we haven’t seen it. Based on her work in Tangled, and might end up being her best album yet.
