Throwback Thursday: Christina Aguilera, sexy then, sexy now

With news that Christina Aguilera might be pregnant we figured this was a good week to take a look back at some of the reasons we became big fans of hers. I mean, who knows which Christina we’ll be getting if and when she has another baby, right?

Click on to see Christina the way we remember her and how she looks today.

Hard to believe that it’s been 15 years since Christina busted on to the scene with her self-titled debut album in 1999 that produced three number one singles, “Genie in a Bottle”, “What a Girl Wants” and “Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You).” And that our fondest memory of her as a singer came way back in 2002 with her fourth studio album Stripped that showed Christina being about as sexy as any singer before or since with it’s accompanying videos.

Jump ahead few years and Xtina blew us away again alongside Lil’ Kim, Mya, and Pink with their rendition of “Lady Marmalade” and it’s super sexy video. Sadly, her film Burlesque in 2010 didn’t produce quite as much buzz and her musical career seemed at a crossroads that still seems a bit unresolved.

Previous Throwbacks: Alyssa Milano, Keri Russell & more!

Today Christina is as probably as well-known to many for being a judge on The Voice since 2011, having appeared in four of the show’s five seasons. That being said, she was still named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2013 so perhaps there’s still more to come.
