Just like Sarah Michelle Gellar, who we featured last week, Charisma Carpenter was one of our favorite actors back in the day thanks to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and eventually, Angel. Let’s take a look back at those glory years and see what she’s up to now.
After Charisma Carpenter’s run as Cordelia Chase ended in 2004 we only had to wait a short while to catch her playing Kendall Casablancas on Veronica Mars. (Plus her 2004 Playboy spread was one of the greatest photo shoots of all time.) Unfortunately for fans of hers, like us, after 2006 we didn’t get to her see her in much worthy of our attention until 2010 when she played Jason Statham’s love interest in The Expendables and we were reminded of what we’d been missing. Then for two years, from 2011 to March of this year she starred in the ABC Family drama The Lying Game. But now that’s been canceled. Boo. Let’s hope that this time we don’t have to wait four years to see her regularly again.
