Catherine Zeta-Jones has been bewitching us ever since we first saw her in The Mask of Zorro so today we take a look back at the many reasons we became big fans of hers and why we still are today. Hard to believe that she’s been on our radar since 1998 and has managed to stay on it for over 15 years now.
Click on to see Catherine the way we remember her and how she looks today.
Of course her appearance in the 1998 film The Mask of Zorro wasn’t her first foray into acting, but it was the first time we as Americans got a glimpse of her. Luckily we didn’t have to wait long to see her again as she blew us away even more when she starred with Sean Connery in the 1999 movie Entrapment, containing one of the best scenes in movie history (watch above). Two more hits with Traffic in 2000 and Chicago in 2002 and she was ensconced as one of our favorite actresses.
Between 2003 and 2011 she only appeared in eight films, however, making us wait to see her on the big screen year after year with films like Ocean’s Twelve and The Legend of Zorro being the high points.
Previous Throwbacks: Tiffani Thiessen, Jennifer Love-Hewitt & more!
Thankfully since the beginning of 2012 Catherine has been in a whopping six films, ramping up her production and looking as sexy as ever as her appearance in the recently released to DVD Red 2 showed very well.
