Scarlett Johansson then and now: A sexy retrospective

With news that Scarlett Johansson is pregnant we thought this week for “Throwback Thursday” we’d better take a look back at why we fell in love with her because who knows what she’ll be doing once she becomes a mom. She might pull a Jessica Alba and we’ll hardly ever see her again, so today let’s just bask in the glory that is and was ScarJo.

For many of us, at a very young age, the first time we saw Scarlett Johansson was as the sister in the movie Home Alone 3 back in 1997. Little did we know then that she’d become the megastar that she is today.

Her big breakout came in 2003 playing alongside none other than Bill Murray in Lost in Translation, garnering her a BAFTA Best Actress Award and a Golden Globe Nomination.

Last week’s Throwback Thursday: Tara Reid, Sharknado star!

Now she’s best known to a whole new audience as Black Widow Natasha Romanoff in the Marvel films, with two more set for release in the next couple of years: Captain America: The Winter Soldier this year and Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015. I guess when you’ve got a couple of blockbusters already in the bank, now really is the perfect time to take a few months off and have a kid. Just don’t forget to come back, Scarlett! You’ve still got that Black Widow centered movie to make that’s been announced and we really want to see it.
