Since Sandra Bullock is about to receive an award for a “Decade of Hotness” we figured that she was the perfect choice for this week’s “Throwback Thursday.”
Has it really been 21 years since we first noticed Sandra Bullock in the film Demolition Man? And 20 years since Speed came out? Wow. Time sure flies and what a career she’s had. A career that actually began with a film called Hangmen way back in 1987.
The list of films we’ve watched Sandra in is so long it’s staggering: While You Were Sleeping, The Net, Hope Floats, 28 Days, Miss Congeniality, Crash, The Blind Side, The Heat, and of course, Gravity, for which she received her second Academy Award nomination. (The Blind Side being the other film in which she was nominated.)
Previous Throwbacks: Beyonce, Jessica Alba, Heidi Klum & more!
Now almost 50 years-old (on July 26th), she is showing literally no signs of slowing down as evidenced by her performance in the aforementioned Gravity, although currently she only has one film on her docket and that being a voice role in the film, The Minions, a Despicable Me sequel. Let’s just hope that the rumors about The Heat 2 are, in fact, true.
