Matthew McConaughey’s explanation of the origin of his famous “alright, alright, alright” is as great as the saying itself has become. As you may recall, the first time we saw him say it was playing David Wooderson in Dazed And Confused, so where did it come from? Was it written for him or did he improvise it? In this unearthed video of an interview he did in 2011 with George Stroumboulopoulos we finally get to find out.
