Ice Cube bent out of shape over losing a meaningless award to a dead Paul Walker

Want more proof that much of Hollywood is a bit out of touch with reality? I present to you one Ice Cube who complained he “was robbed” of the MTV Best Onscreen Duo Award given to Vin Diesel and a dead Paul Walker. Classy.

“We was robbed,” Ice Cube tells USA TODAY. “Shame on you MTV.”

The best screen duo award ended up going going to Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker for Fast & Furious 6. Ice Cube calls it a “sympathy” vote by fans, who chose the winners.

“We had the best chemistry of everybody nominated, for us not to win was crazy,” says Ice Cube of his role with Hart. “We were the best onscreen duo, period.”

“They should have gave it to him before he passed away,” Ice Cube says of Walker, who died in November 2013.

Wow. Just…wow. Cube, it’s an MTV MOVIE AWARD FOR BEST ONSCREEN DUO, voted on by the fans. There’s a category called “Best Shirtless Performance.” Josh Hutcherson was not only nominated for Best Male Performance, he freaking won! Dissing a dead Paul Walker over an awards show like that? Even if you were joking, which was never mentioned in the article, that’s cold.

You sir, may have played xXx, but you, you are no xXx.
