Giada De Laurentiis was filming the Food Network’s annual Thanksgiving Live special on Saturday when she had a bloody accident involving a knife and her finger. I don’t know about you, but I’m hungry for some cranberry sauce!
Giada was cutting a turkey roll as she filmed with fellow chef Alton Brown when apparently the knife slipped, cutting her finger, requiring some medical attention.

“She seemed to go pale and got very quiet putting pressure on it and whispering to Ina that it was bad,” an eyewitness tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. “She looked like she was about to faint.”

Of course this being 2013 there was both Instagram video as well as a photo of the medical attention she received as a result of the injury.
Despite her injury, Giada retuned to the show after about 15 minutes. The show must go on!
