If there are two things I hate, it's weirdos and Starbucks. Luckily, I live in NYC where those there is a Starbucks every 10 feet and weirdos appearing with even more frequency. I have never once thought to myself, "Man, I wish there were more weirdos IN Starbucks" until right now. On St. Patrick's Day in Boston, while a line of people patiently waited to spend $10 on a pile of syrup, whipped cream and minimal coffee (to be glared by a dude in a scarf with glasses you don't think he needs, tapping away on his laptop), a man ran in screaming "I'M RICH! I'M RICH!" quite literally making it rain, flinging over 100 dollar bills in the air, then calmly walking out. What a boss. Patrons were stunned, no one grabbed the cash, and apparently an employee collected the dolla dolla bills to donate them to the Japanese relief effort. For sure the best thing to happen in a Starbucks. Ever.
