Kiteboarding has been one of the most up-and-coming Bro-friendly sports over the past couple years. Ultimate Bros like Sir Richard Branson spend their downtime cruising around the Caribbean mounted by supermodels while kiting. Even finance and Silicon Valley big wigs squeeze in sessions on the water during their lunch breaks and after work during the summer months. To celebrate the growing sport, we’ve compiled a list of some of the finer female kiteboarders from around the world. Gretta Kruesi

 

Gretta is one of the finer ladies of the female kiteboarding community in the U.S. Originally hailing from the epicenter of the southern bell, Charleston, S.C., Gretta now lives in L.A. and is sponsored by several leading brands in kiteboarding as well as stand-up paddleboarding. We've never actually seen a video of her riding, but considering what she brings to the table in her still shots we'd rather not ruin our first impression. Keep up the great work, Gretta.

 

Bruna Kaija

 

This Brazilian beach bunny has the best mix of looks and talent possible. She'll make you look like a b*tch on the water, and does a decent job of keeping up with her nation's wonderfully high standards for physical appearance.

 

Susi Mai

Susi is definitely the most well-known female kiteboarder in the world. A German who grew up in the Dominican Republic, she speaks five languages and regularly bumps elbows with the finest members of Silicon Valley. She does a ton of promotional stuff for the sport and is largely responsible for kiteboarding being viewed as "the new golf." Aside from all those efforts she also looks pretty damn good in a bathing suit and is apparently an avid skydiver. She seems too good to be true so we’ve started a rumor that she’s got a sex tape coming out soon. Just kidding, Susi.

 

Elena Pitoulis

 

So we really don’t know much about Elena other than the fact that she placed 6th overall this year on the women’s pro world tour… and she’s of legal age. We also know that we popped an instant chub while browsing through the photos that we’re available of her. She’s only been on the world tour for one year so we’re definitely wishing Elena the best of luck so we can see plenty more of her in the years to come.

 

Jenna Hannon

 

Jenna is a Canadian kiteboarder who spends most of her time in L.A. ,where she’s been starting an online blog / newsreel about kiteboarding and other action sports called Adrenaline Hot Tub. She’s also been seen hosting as a sportscaster for various television events. As for this photo, however, Michael Jackson called from the "Thriller" set and wants his makeup and Jesus piece back.

 

Clair Lutz

Claire is a girl from Michigan who has been kiting for a couple years now. She's more of a "core" rider and rides features (rails and obstacles like in wakeboarding or snowboarding). She's not the most talented girl on the water but she's earned a place on our list for making an extra effort to promote herself as a rider through photos like these.... which have nothing to do with riding.

 

Linn Svendsen

 

This Norwegian dime piece has been flooding the Internet with amazing videos showcasing the spots where she and her former squeeze traveled to. Although the videos are mostly about the locations rather than kiting, they do a great job of providing the best content that the viewers want to see: Linn in a bathing suit.

 

Johara Freedom Sykes-Davies

 

Although this picture looks like something out of the teeny-bopper mags of the '90s, this English babe has got a lot going on. Hailing from “sunny” North Wales, she’s known for charging all sorts of different conditions even if temps are near freezing. She’s got some talent for sure and it’s a shame that she’s got to normally hide her other traits with a wetsuit. We just hope that with a middle name like Freedom she won't be prancing around off the water with hula hoops and a spray bottle of patchouli oil.

 

Kristin Boese

 

Kristin was a several time world champion who was on the world circuit for many years. She's got raw talent on the water and backs it up with a body builder's physique that lets her throw down like one of the boys. Despite Kristin's buff bod she was covered recently in the German version of Playboy; but look out boys that airbrush definitely hides the fact that she could destroy your ass in an arm wrestle...
