Remember when you were in elementary school and the excitement you would have when you had a substitute teacher? Well imagine the fervor you would have if a adult entertainment star was your teacher for the day.

 

Porn legend Sasha Grey was invited to read books to first graders at an L.A. area elementary school last week. If you're not familiar with Grey, she is the star of such movies as "Gang Bang My Face," "Cum Fart Cocktails 5," and "Grand Theft Anal 11."

 

Grey spent the day reading books to young, impressionable children at Emerson Elementary School in Compton on November 2, participating in the Read Across America program. Sasha tweeted about the experience, "Spent the am with Read Across America Compton, reading to the sweetest 1st & 3rd grade students @ Emerson Elementary!"

 

However, not everyone thought a adult entertainment star reading to 5-year-olds was a sweet idea. Angry parents complained to the PTA about the 2010 AVN award winner for best anal scene actress interacting with their children. The PTA then contacted the school's principal. A rep for the school district denied that Sasha was ever inside one of its classrooms. The rep told TMZ, "We have several celebrities who read to our students each year. The actress you have indicated [Sasha] was not present."

 

To her credit, Sasha has retired from adult entertainment and attempted to go mainstream as of late with appearances on "Entourage," in Steven Soderbergh's "The Girlfriend Experience, and in the upcoming "Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story," which will chronicle the life of Linda Lovelace, the adult entertainment star in the infamous adult movie, "Deep Throat." Portraying Lovelace will be Malin Akerman; Paz de la Huerta will also star in the film.
