My alma mater used to be a football powerhouse, an NFL breeding ground. We had years where we set NFL draft records for the number of players from one school picked in the first round. We had two losses in my first three years of college. It was a great time to be a Miami Hurricane. Then, all of Butch Davis's blue-chip recruits left and Larry Coker's disgraceful recruiting abilities shined through. And our football team hasn't been the same since. Here, then, is a video of Michael Irvin telling next year's team something along the lines of, "Hey, you don't have to suck. It's O.K. to go to a respectable bowl game once in a while."
