Summer Movie Preview: The 50 Must-See* Flicks of the Season

Remember in the third grade when you went as Spider-Man for Halloween, then you showed up at your friend's house to go trick-or-treating and saw his awesome Batman costume, and your other friend's G.I. Joe getup, and even the fat kid's green body paint and cheap plastic Hulk mask, and suddenly you thought to yourself, Oh sh*t, I picked the wrong costume at the store. That's sort of what this summer's movie lineup is going to be like. There are so many blockbusters — with and without all the superheroes named above — and so many high-profile comedies on the docket that you're going to find yourself wondering if you've seen or skipped all the right flicks.

The 9 Greatest ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Cover Videos of All Time

Remember that awesome video of the drunk dude who got arrested and sang "Bohemian Rhapsody" in the back of the cop car all the way to the clink? This morning, a new amateur cover of the Queen classic popped up on the web, and though it's a whole lot more wholesome, it's still kind of great. A father and his three children sing "Bohemian Rhapsody" in its entirety on their way to school each morning — even the future Bro toddler in the car seat gets into it with some headbanging — and they...

Seattle Mariners Pitcher Steve Delabar Has Nine Screws in His Arm, One Hell of a Story

Anyone catch "Real Sports" on HBO last night? Other than a fawning profile of King Hank Lundqvist's dashing Swedish looks (and goaltending chops), the highlight was a piece on Seattle Mariners pitcher Steve Delabar, a former Single-A hurler who broke his elbow and retired several years ago, and then miraculously earned his way not only back into baseball but onto a Big League lineup in less than a year. It's a hell of a story.

These Wisconsin Bros Spent Their St. Patrick’s Day Making a ‘Call Me Maybe’ Remix Video

Here's a Bro or Not Bro scenario for you: A group of University of Winsconsin guys spent their St. Patrick's Day weekend filming a remix video in Madison for Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" — you know, that ultra-poppy track that the Duke and Carolina lady laxers made a remix video for and has now become a thing. O.K., so most of the rapping in the video appears to have been shot at an earlier time, and they just spliced in some footage of their March 17 green-soaked partying. Still, gotta...

Johnny Depp is a Vampire in the ‘70s in ‘Dark Shadows’

If I told you that this was the trailer for "Dark Shadows," yet another vampire movie, you'd probably roll your eyes. If I told you that it starred Johnny Depp as said vampire, and was directed by his frequent collaborator Tim Burton, you'd probably be a lot more intrigued. Now what if I told you that most of the movie was set in the 1970s, two hundred years after a curse had been placed on Depp's character, and he's risen from the dead into a world of disco balls, red Chevys, and Barry White...

Why Duke Will Win the National Championship

Why Duke Will Win the National Championship

Every year I write a post as to why Duke will win the National Championship and then go ahead and pick them to win it all in our BroBible March Madness Bracket Challenge. Some years, it's easier than others — in 2010 I nailed it to a tee; in 2011, not so much. Is the 2012 campaign a long shot? Definitely, but it could still happen. Here's why I think they'll be cutting down the nets in New Orleans:

Here’s How to Get Free Access to March Madness Live on Your Computer or Mobile Device

So it turns out that this year the Turner networks (TBS, TNT, and TruTV) are charging $3.99 for the March Madness Live app, which you can use to watch the NCAA Tournament games on your computer or mobile device (all CBS games are free via their website). This story on Deadspin says that you can skip the charge by entering your cable provider account number. But for the life of me, I can't figure out where or how to do that. But via the comments on that story comes a better tip: Coke Zero is giving away free access codes to March Madness Live. Here's how to get one for yourself:

These Chinese Movie Posters Look a Lot Like These American Movie Posters

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, what do you make of these Chinese movie posters that completely rip off American movie posters — in some cases for movies that aren't even knockoffs of the original? The posters for everything from "Ocean's 12," "Sherlock Holmes," and "Ides of March" to "Taken," "The Departed," and "Love Actually" have been unabashedly jacked. The worst in our book is the "Flag of Our Fathers" knockoff: How you gonna take one of the most famous images of...

Watch Rory McIlroy Win a Point Against Maria Sharapova, Andy Roddick Channel Nadal Against Federer

Here's what you need to know about this video that's making the rounds of Caroline Wozniacki pulling Rory McIlroy out of the crowd last night at Madison Square Garden to play a point against Maria Sharapova. About two minutes earlier, coming out of a changeover at 5-4 in the second set, with music still playing, Wozniacki pulled an eight-year-old girl out of the front row to dance with her on the court. Not to be out done, Sharapova pulled a 50-year-old bald guy in a suit out of the crowd and started dancing with him. Once the dancing was over she asked: "Why do you always get the kids, and I get the creeps?" A little later Wozniacki asks, "Any hot guys in here want to dance with me?" Rory, the new #1 golfer in the world, shoots his hand up (with a little help from his friend) and is eventually handed a racket. Watch the whole sequence below and find out how this little act of fun basically cost Wozniacki the match.

How Obnoxious (or Glorious) Is This Duke Student Government Tweet to the UNC Student Government?

Stuff like this is why most of the nation hates Duke. These back-and-forth Tweets between the two rivals' student governments came soon after Carolina dominated Duke in Cameron Saturday night, and a little more than a week before Duke will get its revenge in the ACC Tournament Championship in Atlanta. Check out the full Tweets after the jump.

‘Neighborhood Watch’ Is Not Your Typical Vince Vaughn-Jonah Hill-Ben Stiller Summer Comedy

Take Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, and Richard Ayoade and stick them in a red minivan patrolling the mean streets of the leafy suburbs. Add "Still D.R.E." to the soundtrack and you've got the teaser trailer for a summer comedy about suburban dads finding any excuse to get away from their families. Except here's the thing: this movie's a sci-fli flick. Although you can't tell from this teaser, these watch dogs apparently uncover a plot to destroy earth.

27 Words, Phrases, and Quotes the New Yorker Used to Describe Tucker Max’s New Not-So-Bro Lifestyle

Tucker Max has a new book out called "Hilarity Ensues," but he says it's the last one in his trilogy of "d*ck lit." He's 36 now and says he's no longer the "man-child" he was when he wrote "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell" and "A**holes Finish First." So what's he doing now? Living in Austin, and apparently compiling a bucket list of non-man-child activities, including "pottery," "gardening," and "Zen archery." When Max was in Manhattan on his book tour recently, a New Yorker magazine writer tagged along as the author worked out, grabbed a fruit salad on the go, and then went to yoga. Here are 27 words, phrases, and quotes from the Talk of the Town piece that describe Tucker Max's current not-so-Bro lifestyle.
