This should be a tough week for you readers to decide on the winner of the Hottie Index. Do you support a good looking woman with strong character? Or would you rather their champion be one with loose morals? Do you like au natural or a woman who gets some work done to keep her looks up? There are so many questions, but you have all of eternity to answer (or at least until the end of the weekend because after that we move on to the next week).

As it seems every year in recent memory, the Kentucky Derby has a forecast of rain coming from the sky and chaos coming down the home stretch. Thunderstorms are forecasted over the next two days for Louisville. It has been estimated that out of 135 years of the Kentucky Derby, 61 days (45.2% of the time) have encountered precipitation in some form. Sloppy conditions will change the way the race is run. For those unfamiliar with horse racing, horses on the front are more successful on a wet track. Churchill Downs usually favors closing horses, so a wet track on Saturday is a game-changer.

While games are still many months away, it’s nice to get a football fix in the middle of the spring. Most teams drafted well, but draft grades aren’t just as easy as deciphering who got the specific best players in the draft.
KEEP READING »The end of April is near, which means we're only one month away from another blazing hot summer. The heat, however, is ever-present here at BroBible as we present another week of the Hottie Index. While it was a big week for sports with the always entertaining NFL Draft, the end of the NBA regular season, and a great first round of the NHL playoffs. Sports also provided us with two choices for this week's Hottie Index while the music industry and Hollywood took care of the rest. Remember that we have a new format now, so you get to decide who ends up the leader of the Hottie Index. Sadly it'll likely be the closest any of us get to impact that girl's life, but a young boy can dream, can't he?

VIEW SLIDESHOW »After a few years of the same old song and dance, we decided to give the Hottie Index a little bit of a makeover. Like with any hot bird, sometimes things get a little stale and you need to move onto something new. In a similar fashion to what we now do with Bro of the Week, you Bros will now see a selection of five choices each week and decide which fine piece of ass is the true hottie of the week. We know you Bros have taste, so hopefully you use it.

Not only did Major League Baseball mistakenly put the first game of the season on tape delay, the whole scenario was lost among Tebowmania and March Madness. What’s even weirder is how Seattle and Oakland returned to the United States and continued to play spring training games. Things really start up tonight as the first real game is played in the Marlins’ new stadium. Hopefully the baseball game dwarfs the novelty of the two aquariums behind home plate. Play ball!
KEEP READING »These last three weeks went pretty fast, right? As the calendar has turned to April we bid adieu to March Madness with its final hurrah. While the games on Saturday night were pretty exciting, this has sadly been one of the least exciting tournaments in recent years.
KEEP READING »It's only fitting that the best possible Final Four venue gets paired with two of the best Final Four games in recent history. Word is the streets of New Orleans are at their peak this weekend as the four schools travel down en mass.
KEEP READING »Last night’s Sweet 16 games delivered as expected. We had a couple upsets to add to the drama, but the best game of the night featured No. 1 seed Syracuse holding off No. 4 Wisconsin. Coach Bo Ryan decided not to call a timeout for Wisconsin’s last possession and relied on senior point guard Jordan Taylor to use his experience to create a last-second opportunity. Taylor was unable to find a good shot against Syracuse’s zone, leaving one to wonder if Ryan should have used his last timeout to draw up an effective play and to get Jared Berggren back in the game.
KEEP READING »The early pair of games tonight is the best of any in the Sweet 16, and the evening slate is no slouch either. In general, Thursday’s games look better on paper than Friday’s set, so you should clear out your calendar and make sure you catch them. The four matchups feature a potpourri of basketball styles. There’s zone and man-to-man defenses, differing offensive and defensive styles, fast-paced and slow-it-down squads, and long-range bombers paired with inside forces. Hopefully we don’t get stuck with too many of those Greg Anthony commercials. No, this isn’t March Monotony. We got that now.

KEEP READING »Last Tuesday, when the opening game of the "First Four" tipped off, hoops fans around the country had one big question: What channel is TruTV on again? And no wonder: It's only been a year since coverage of the NCAA Tournament expanded from just CBS (and NCAA.com) to TruTV, TNT, and TBS, adding yet more networks from which sports fans can get their fix. For the most addicted among us, like me, that's a very good thing. Readers often notice how often I tweet and write about sports, and wonder how I’m watching all the different events. The truth is that if you are strategic about which sports upgrades to add to your basic cable package; have a Slingbox and can access a cable or satellite box out of your area; or, worst-case scenario, just know where to look for those channels that are already available, you can watch great sports pretty much 24/7, 365 days a year. Here's how:
