The Handsome Men's Club Tries to Kick Out Its President, Jimmy Kimmel

by AK47 | March 8, 2010 at 1:56 p.m.

After last night's Oscars, Jimmy Kimmel hosted a special Sunday night edition of his show, and the highlight was the hilarious, 10-minute long "Handsome Men's Club." We won't reveal who's actually in the club (other than Kimmel and John Krasinski, of course) -- the "reveals" just get better and better as the video goes on. This is a must watch.  Keep Reading »

Top 15 Classic and Hilarious Zach Galifianakis Moments

by joePA | March 5, 2010 at 5:09 p.m.

Last weekend a friend made a bold barroom claim: "Zach Galifianakis is this generation's Bill Murray," drawing a resonate comparison between the comedian's brilliant performance as Alan in "The Hangover" to Carl Spackler in "Caddyshack." As much as I love reciting a vintage quote from "Meatballs," "Stripes," or "Ghostbusters," it's pretty difficult to disagree. This weekend the comparison to Bill Murray inches one step forward as Zach Galifianakis makes his "Saturday Night Live" hosting debut. Although the awkward funny guy with a grizzly chin full of whiskers has been around for over a decade, "The Hangover" propelled him into A-list stardom and exposed his dry one-liners and zippy zingers to a new generation of fans.

Despite his fame, Galifianakis -- much like Murray -- appears to be the antithesis of other blockbuster comedians who fall into the Hollywood trappings of their stardom (cough, Adam Sandler). For example, he stays out of the limelight by keeping it real on his 60-acre private farm in rural North Carolina. Earlier this week the New York Daily News reported that "The Hangover" star kept to himself at a star-studded Details magazine anniversary party, hanging out in "a corner, armed with a spit cup and a mouthful of chewing tobacco." On top of that, his iconic beard can only be described as "impressive" along with a laundry list of other superlatives. In anticipation of his SNL appearance, I've compiled a very diverse assortment of 12 classic Galifianakis clips to help you squander the rest of your Friday afternoon. Check them out after the jump.

Update: Zach Galifianakis Enjoys Bidets, O'Douls, Hoobastank, and Dropping By the Set on 'SNL'  Keep Reading »

Funny or Die's Presidential Reunion Brings Together Every 'SNL' President Since Ford

by AG | March 3, 2010 at 12:43 p.m.

What do you get when Ron Howard directs a Funny or Die video starring Will Ferrell, Jim Carrey, Dana Carvey, Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd, Darrell Hammond, Fred Armisen, and Maya Rudolph? The funniest Presidential Reunion ever, including appearances by two ghosts (that would be Carrey filling in for Phil Hartman as Ronald Reagan and Chase as Gerald Ford). The video is actually a pitch for MainstreetBrigade.org, which is trying to push Congress to sign off on the creation of the Consumer Financial Protection Agency. Watch the hilarious reunion, plus two behind-the-scenes clips, after the jump.

Baron Davis Explains Beard Is the Key to His Swagger

by joePA | March 2, 2010 at 5:35 p.m.

Last week was all about Jayson Werth, Joe Mauer, Nick Markakis and the other best off-season beards in Major League Baseball. Although it's now Mustache March, we'll always have a soft spot for a great beard. Today we stumbled upon a hirsute and hilarious video that we anticipate to blow up big over the next few days. The video is a ridiculous mock infomercial of Clipper's point guard Baron Davis pitching a fictitious product while explaining that his beard is the key to his swagger. Epic Beard Man Documentary 'I Am A MotherF**ker' Hits the Web

by joePA | March 1, 2010 at 4:13 p.m.

Two weeks after Thomas Bruso a.k.a. Epic Beard Man made his YouTube debut, the Carolina blue-wearing "motherfucker" continues to captivate audiences with his profane rants and raves and colorful stories. Unlike other quickly forgotten Internet memes, the world just can't get seem to enough of this angsty Vietnam vet and his warnings not to "fuck with senior citizens." Hopefully he's able to cash in on his new-found celebrity with a lucrative book/movie deal. In the meantime, today's latest Beard Man Buzz is a 16-minute mini-documentary called "I am a mother fucker." Bruso explains his life story, tells an anecdote about when police beat and tasered him at the Oakland Coliseum during a baseball game, fields phone calls for media offers, and comments on the sensational reaction to the video of him opening up a can of whoop ass on an AC transit bus. Parts of the documentary are hilarious; others heart-wrenching. There's simple too many crazy quotes to list, but the standout so far is, "In 4th grade, I learned how to knock a mother fucker out." Even if he's bullshitting us all, there's simple no denying that he's one hell of a storyteller. Here's to hoping his flame burns long and bright. Video with lots of NSFW language after the jump.  Keep Reading »

NSFW-ish: Chuck Liddell Works Out Naked With Hot Girlfriend (Allegedly)

by joePA | February 25, 2010 at 5:34 p.m.

We just stumbled across this video of former MMA superstar Chuck Liddell working out in the nude at The Big Lead. "The Iceman" appears to be working out naked with his girlfriend. We assume this will be taken down very, very fast, so we want to share it before a big controversy blows up (unless this was staged or fake). Everything is blurred out, just in case you were wondering. More to come. Update: As predicted, the video was taken down from YouTube. But guess what? We found it somewhere else! And we took screen shots! Seven in fact. Check it out after the jump.  Keep Reading »

'Delta Psi Pi' Fraternity Hires a Professional to Turn Around Its Fortunes

by AG | February 10, 2010 at 7:14 p.m.

L.A.-based filmmaker and BroBible friend Michael Doneger has shot two episodes of a new web series called "Delta Psi Pi" and he was excited to share them with the BroBible audience. Doneger explains that last September, he and a friend went to UCLA's campus and rushed fraternities during rush week. "This would be standard practice if we were college students," Doneger says. "However, we've been out of college for a couple of years. We found a fraternity that we liked and they gave us a bid. which we accepted. It was absolutely awesome. Here I am, 23 years old, my buddy 24, and we're hanging with these kids like we're back in college. Anyway, we decided to tell them the truth and eventually declined the bid.

"Despite our short-lived experience in Psi Pi, we made friends with the fraternity brothers and they allowed us to shoot a web series which I had been wanting to film," Doneger continues. "The web series is about an unpopular fraternity that hires a 'professional' to turn their fortune around and make them matter among their peers."

Both episodes are after the jump.  Keep Reading »
