by Bro Me the Money | January 7, 2010 at 5:27 p.m.
After combing through over 150 submissions from Bros all over the country, it was clear that deciding the Ultimate Theme Party winner was not going to be easy. We received everything from the creative and inventive to the weird and bizarre. In the end we couldn't pick just one and decided to award three winners of the Ultimate Theme Party contest. The winners get $500 to make their theme party idea a reality, a top BroBible-provided DJ to spin their favorite music all night, and enough cases of Code Blue recovery drink for everyone to suck down at the end of the night to hopefully avoid any brutal moral hangovers. Here are the winning ideas (with photos from previous parties):

Got an Ugly Christmas Sweater? Send Us a Photo and Enter to Win a New PowerMat

by AG | December 17, 2009 at 11:26 a.m.

'Tis the season for ugly Christmas sweater parties, and if you think you've partied in the most awful jumper in town, BroBible has an offer for you. We are giving away a bad-ass piece of merchandise called the PowerMat to the Bro who sends in a photo of himself wearing the ugliest sweater. A wireless system that charges up to three devices at a time with no cords, the PowerMat charges your iPod/Blackberry/PSP/whatever by just placing them on top of it. Even if your local thrift store is all out of sweaters, make sure you add this baby to your holiday wish list. Those who think they have a shot at winning, however, should send all pictures to contact@brobible.com and may the fugliest win.

Last Chance to Enter the Ultimate Theme Party Contest! Deadline Extended One More Day!

by AG | December 14, 2009 at 10:10 a.m.

The deadline for the Ultimate Theme Party Contest came and went last night, but we're giving you one last chance to send in your entries. We've extended the deadline to midnight tonight, Dec. 14.

BroBible's email inboxes have been flooded over the past couple months with fraternities, sports teams, and other groups telling us they know how to throw down the hardest. Since we can't check out every school this semester in person, we want to find a school that knows how to make the most of a party.

We want to hear your best, most original, creative, and insane ideas for a theme party to be held during your school's spring semester. No generic themes allowed. Highlighter party -- been done a million times. Golf Pro's and Tennis Ho's -- WACK. Sorry "Animal House" fans, togas, though classic, won't work either. We need a theme party idea that is going to blow us away and that will get everyone excited to be involved. The winning idea will be rewarded with $500* to make this theme party a reality, a top BroBible-provided DJ to spin your favorite music all night, and four cases of Code Blue recovery drink for everyone to suck down at the end of the night so that you aren't waking up the next morning feeling like a bomb just hit you. Watch Out for Jacob Schoenick, a Future Name That Flow Contest Hopeful

by AG | December 8, 2009 at 4:54 p.m.

Miniflow

Earlier today we shared with you the non-winning entries from our Name That Flow Contest. We'll unveil the honorable mentions, runners up, and grand prize winner tomorrow, but we just had to share with all of you one of our favorite entries from the contest. The Bro's name is Jacob Schoenick, and although he's still got a few years ahead of him before he's in serious consideration for the big prize, this bro has earned himself a special award from the judges and Warrior (to be determined) for this year's entry. If you're looking at the photo above thinking, "what's the big deal? He's just a kid with, as he himself says, 'miniflow,'" you've got to click through to after the jump to check out Jacob's three other entries. Jacob simply gives us hope for generations of future flow stars.  Keep Reading »

Check Out Some of the Entries for the 'Name That Flow Contest!'

by AG | December 8, 2009 at 1:06 p.m.

Peter White: Flo-verload
It's finally time to unveil the winners of BroBible and Warrior Lacrosse's first ever "Name That Flow Contest." First, a big thanks to the guys at Warrior Lacrosse, including judges Matt Striebel and Connor Martin, as well as Nate Maus, who upped the ante on (and quantity of) all the prizes after seeing the high quality of the entries. We also have to send a shout out to the Ministers of Flow, the guys at 90% of Lax is in the Flow, who also judged the entries and provided great guidance along the way. And finally, a big thanks to all of the entrants who took the time to not only send in a picture and name their flow, but to also maintain their flow at such high standards.

We're going to leave the announcement of the actual winner, runners up, and honorable mentions to separate posts later today, but to get things rolling, we wanted to share all the entries that didn't quite make the cut, but still deserved their place in the BroBible sun.  Keep Reading »
