Golfer Henrik Stenson decided that he just had to play his shot out of a very wet and muddy lie. So he took all his clothes off, except of course his underwear and glove. [Golf.com]

Finally Some Good News as Stock Market, DePaul Win, and Bernie Madoff Loses

Someone farted at this Medina, Ohio, City Council meeting. Can you figure out who dealt it?

Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff will plead guilty to his $50 billion $170.8 billion fraud and will get as many as 150 years in prison. UPDATE: Apparently Madoff might have jacked $170.8 billion from his investors, not the previously reported $50 billion.

The stock market finally got a big bump today following news that Citibank had a great quarter, the SEC might re-institute the "uptick rule" (which means you can't short a stock if the last trade was down), and that the mark-to-market policy won't be suspended, but might be changed. The Dow finished up 379 points.

DePaul, which went 0-18 this year in Big East play but still made the newly expanded conference tournament, knocked off Cincinnati today in the first round of the tourney for its first victory since late December.  Keep Reading »
