Google is trying to nudge its way into the update-all-your-friends realm of Facebook and Twitter by introducing Gmail-powered Google Buzz (real original name, guys). I don't know how to say this, but the flow community lost some volume over the weekend. I was giving a lecture on hair gel and centripetal force when I received a text message, alerting me that you, the 2009 Tewaaraton Award winner and Denver Outlaw standout, decided to "trim" your flow. I am unsure of how this came about: whether it's a bitter girlfriend or overreaching managing director, but I do know the blood is on my hands.

I can't pin the scalping to any single cause, it seems brash and open-ended. Your Twitter posts offer few details, but you do downplay the significance of the cut, referring to it as a "trim." Your wording leads me to believe you're fully conscious of the potential consequences and backlash from fans and flow gods alike. The timing of the "trim" is counter-intuitive: a seasoned laxer of your level understands the benefits of flow come this time of year; anyone who hails from New York realizes that come winter, flow is dough, adding a layer of comfort to keep out the cold. I know you're currently training for Team USA, the house that flow built, so I'd be hard pressed to think you improved your odds with short locks.  Keep Reading »

We've told you once, we'll tell you again: if you're not following us on Twitter, you might as well be following Chad Ochocinco. He posts every few hours and is never not entertaining. On his off Mondays and Tuesdays he usually flies home to Atlanta or down to Miami to visit family (or watch Monday Night Football games like last night). Here's a photo of Ocho this morning heading out to breakfast. Nevermind the ride, or the Louis Vuitton shirt, or the shades. Check out those kicks. Hot.

We'll admit that we're becoming mildly obsessed with Twitter -- when we're not posting on the Buzz late night, you'll usually find us over there, sounding off about the inanity of Mike & Mike & Steve Young calling a Monday Night Football game; Jon Stewart trying to lure LeBron to the Knicks with Shake Shack, an I Love NY mug, and a T-Rex vertebrae; and Barack Obama calling Kanye a "jackass" while Jay Leno asks him if his mother would be disappointed. Really, you're missing a lot if you're not following us.
