Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi Are All Smiles (Sort of, Um, Not Really, At All) at Charity Match

by AG | March 15, 2010 at 12:46 p.m.

We didn't post the incredibly awkward taunting between Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi at a charity match over the weekend because, well, we didn't like watching two our of tennis heroes going out at it like that. Though they had an incredibly fierce rivalry over the years, they were always gentlemen on and off the courts. Not so much anymore. I guess the funny part about this is that Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal were Pete and Andre's playing partners, and you've got to believe they're standing there asking themselves, 'Hmm, I wonder if we're going to be like them in 10 years?' The cringe-worthy video is after the jump.  Keep Reading »

by BroSophocles | October 29, 2009 at 11:03 a.m.
And I got a pair This is the old Agassi and I love it. Agassi revolutionized Brofessional Tennis only to see his hard work amount to the proper tennis attire today. I wore these kicks to the last Tiesto show in...  Keep Reading »

Andre Agassi's Greatest (Crystal Meth-Inspired?) Fashion and Flow Choices

by AG | October 28, 2009 at 10:11 a.m.

When news broke yesterday that in a new autobiography, Andre Agassi admits to once using crystal meth, the estimable Waffles McButter wrote on his Facebook wall: "That at least explains his attire in the early 90's." We've growing up watching Agassi and watched him leave his heart and soul on the court nearly every time, so we won't harp on this latest revelation, except to follow Waffles' lead and serve up the best Agassi fashion choices from over the years -- not to mention his glorious flow.  Keep Reading »

Formerly Buxom Tennis Player Simona Halep Finally Turns 18, Legal

by AG | September 29, 2009 at 2:29 p.m.

Well, we had this whole big plan for celebrating Simona Halep's 18th birthday, which we thought was today. Hell, we put Sept. 29 in the headline back when we first showed you photos of the most stacked player in the history of tennis. By now you know all about her breast-reduction surgery, a shame if there ever was one, but understandable considering, well, could you play professional tennis lugging those things around? Anyway, it turns out her birthday was on Sunday, so she's been legal for a couple days now. That doesn't mean we can't wish her a happy birthday! (And as a goodie bag for all of you guys, there are plenty more photos after the jump.)  Keep Reading »

Murray Falls in Straight Sets, Djokovic Impersonates McEnroe against McEnroe

by AG | September 8, 2009 at 5:26 p.m.
Andy Murray lost his quarterfinals match today to Marin Cilic in straight sets. Here's how The Times described his performance: Playing an oddly listless match while exhibiting the body language of a man undergoing a tax audit, second-seeded Andy Murray was battered by 16th-seeded Marin Cilic in a stunning 7-5, 6-2, 6-2 fourth-round loss on Tuesday that produced a rare men's upset in the United States Open." Ouch. Is Andy Murray becoming the next Tim Henman? Can the United Kingdom survive another Tim Henman?

By the way, if you haven't seen last night's Novak Djokovic impression of John McEnroe it's definitely worth it, especially considering the fact that McEnroe grabs a racket, throws on some tennis shoes, and plays a few points against him -- as he himself imitates Djokovic.

Tennis Hotties Wozniacki and Oudin Both Reach Open Quarterfinals

by AG | September 8, 2009 at 11:14 a.m.

One's Danish, one's American. Both are hot, both are in the U.S. Open Quarterfinals. With the men's side of the bracket proving as boring as ever (including no Americans reaching the quarters for the first time in history), the spicy Caroline Wozniacki and and intense Melanie Oudin have lit up Flushing Meadows this past week with stellar play and stunning looks. Both are off today, but are back in action tomorrow. Until then, check out some hot photos of both after the jump.  Keep Reading »

We feel kind of dirty ogling photos of 17-year-old Romanian tennis player, but we couldn't pass over these shots of Simona Halep, the Junior French Open Champion. Nobody let her know about sports bras. A couple more shots and a video after the jump.
