Many of you probably tuned in for President Obama's first State of the Union Address this evening. Perhaps you even bet on the topics or played a drinking game. Before Obama took the podium on Capital Hill, a scandalous and scantily-clad new viral video from the folks at PETA hit the web. Unforunately, the video was released on the same day that the animal rights group decided to take aim at replacing Pennsylvania's beloved groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil. PETA's State of the Union "Undressed" has been a grassroots tactic for the last few years. Here's the link for 2007 and 2008. As expected, PETA heavily pushes its agenda throughout this year's video. Regardless of where you stand on the issues, you'll probably get a laugh out of the comical cross-cuts to a chamber packed with Congressmen. In order to momentarily capture your attention, the controversial animal rights advocacy group uses the oldest advertising truism in the book: big, voluptuous, and extremely naked breasts. 'Tis the season for snatching up calenders with pictures of sexy women for charitable causes. However, you may not know where to start. The market of girlie calenders is oversaturated with photos of airbrushed models in tacky, dollar-store calenders you'd expect to see hanging behind the cigarette counter of a shady interstate truck stop. Back in November the BroBible crew told you about the red-hot Pirelli calender, one of the most coveted holiday items in Europe. Maxim, Playboy, Sports Illustrated and virtually every major men's magazine on the face of the planet also boast a cheeky wall calender. This exhausting and ultra-hot genre also includes a series of NCAA conference girls calenders and the Brazilian surf-inspired Miss Reef calender.



But what about calenders showcasing beautiful women who are willing to strip down and bare all for a good cause such as Leukemia research, a la the 2003 movie Calender Girls? A provocative charitable wall calender is the ultimate two-way gift. Your money benefits a civic group, club, or charity for a great cause. In return, you receive a glossy calender stuffed with pin-up vixens and boudoir eye candy to drool and fawn over for the next 12 months in the comfortable confines of your man cave or dorm room.

In the spirit of holiday giving and warming up the pipes to sing "Auld Lang Syne" on New Years Eve, I rounded-up the 13 hottest charitable calenders on the market for 2010. While there are many middle age and senior citizen groups that are willing to strip down for a charity calendar in the United States, the trend has yet to take on with girls that are actually - um, how can I say this? - hot to the bro demographic. For better or for worse, the overwhelming majority of the calendars in this NSFW list are from the United Kingdom and Europe. There's a pretty good chance you're already familiar with John Neyrot's work if you're a loyal BroBible reader. Remember the pictures of Tim Tebow's falsely rumored lady friend, Erin Drewes, in a skimpy, sexy Florida Gator's uniform? Neyrot did that. As a professional body painter, Neyrot makes his living cloaking naked women with elegant, Technicolor designs. Painting and photographing women in their birthday suites is just another day at the office for Neyrot. In addition to Drewes, his resume includes an impressive three showcases at Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion, including this past year's Halloween party. He'll team up with Playboy again in February to paint models for Hef's notoriously bacchanalian Super Bowl Party. This past week, BroBible called Neyrot at his home in sunny and warm South Florida to discuss his craft, what it's like painting the nooks and crannies of the female body, and how he doesn't get to see quite as many natural chests anymore.

BroBible: How did you get into body painting?

John Neyrot: I started as an airbrush artist. I airbrushed T-shirts, jackets, motorcycles, cars, and then wall murals. During Halloween, people would come in and ask about getting their costumes painted. It was never really body painting; it was actually like painting their clothing as part of their costumes. So one day somebody came in and said, "Hey, there's this festival in the Keys called 'Fantasy Fest.' You should think about going down. They paint faces, bodies, arms." That is how it really started. On my first real body paint job, I got to paint someone's chest, which was pretty exciting because it was the first one. After that, I started going down there every year and it went from painting one girl topless to painting like 200 girls in one day, either topless or nude.

When the Don Drapers of Madison Avenue apply this psychological truism to the side of the road, it increases the likeliness of an fender bender. After all, who isn't distracted by a pair of double Ds hovering 20 feet above 8 lanes of rush hour traffic?

Here in the good ole' United States, folks are downright prudish about what infiltrates their public space. Billboards are often hot-button First Amendment issues, even when not necessarily obscene. Any image or message suggesting vice or considered morally unwholesome to a puritan population often stirs a tempest of controversy. For example, residents of Des Monies, Iowa, cried "bad taste" when a billboard for a gentleman's club was put up over I-90 near a Little League ball park. In 2008, a divorce lawyer in Chicago's Rush Street nightclub district hung a sign reading "Life's Short. Get a Divorce" and spawned controversy. Same story for an Ashley Madison billboard in Lalaland (Editor's Note: Ashley Madison is a BroBible advertiser). Earlier this year, a sultry Calvin Klein underwear ad depicting a sensual Eve Mendes in New York's SoHo (a block away from BroBible HQ) even twisted the panties of some Gotham residents.

Ad agencies abroad, however, aren't as reluctant to push the creative envelope. In October, a strip club in South Africa suggested "No Need for Gender Testing" along with a smoking blond. Nothing is too obscene in Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia, where a bare pair of female knockers -- including full-view nip -- lathered with soap on a downtown city block is no big deal for promoting a graphic design expo. An exposed pair of fun bags was also recently used to market a Croatian brand of sausage. Even international brands like Playboy titillate with risque ways of seducing driver's eye balls in anything-goes Denmark.
