Men only made small waves in the news this week and only a select few have arguable cases to receive the esteemed honor of being our Bro of the Week. In our eyes, however, the race really came down to a couple men and a 12-year-old Canadian boy named Sidney. Cleary Sidney was not going to be the choice this week. The Stars and fucking Stripes course through my ever-present veins and I would sooner let a man's lips touch my hang-low than give a Canadian the sweet pleasure of stripping an American of two titles in one week. Even if that title is just our Bro of the Week and not some shiny medallion that can be pawned off for cocaine or other sundry items.

Ryan Miller was in contention again this week but we have already showered him and his smoking hot WAG Noureen DeWulf with so much love and admiration that giving him this would just be redundant. I have to hand it to him, he gave it his all. But we wanted the gold medal and if we started handing out awards to people for finishing in second place (especially to Canada), what kind of irresponsible example would that set for the children?

So that leaves us with the Bro King, Tiger Woods. We all know of his storied career in both golf and infidelity, but yesterday he pulled the biggest Bro move of the week and in effect slid right into this prize, much akin to the way he slid his pepper steak into multiple women all not named Elin.  Keep Reading »

Since the Tiger Woods Watch is in fact only just starting to heat up, we thought we'd alert you to two different reports today about the Striped One's comeback. First, RadarOnline is reporting that Elin is moving back into their Windermere home. Of course, Radar is also the same news outlet that earlier today claimed that Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts was resigning. They retracted that story in about 25 minutes, so take this Tiger gossip with a grain of salt.

We mentioned this a little bit yesterday, but according to new reports, there's a serious renegotiation of Tiger and Elin Woods' prenup in the works, and we're still trying to make sense of it all. In the original agreement, Elin would receive $20 million if the marriage lasted 10 years (they were hitched in 2004). It seems that Tiger is now offering Elin $5 million right up front and up to an additional $55 million if she stays with him for two more years. Is Tiger really trying to make the marriage work? Consider this your 5:10 p.m. Tiger Woods update. First, the serious stuff: The Chicago Sun Times is filling in some details about what might happen next between Elin Woods and her husband, and although most are guessing a divorce is inevitable, that might not be the case:

Also, don't look for Woods' wife, Elin, to be moving out of the couple's Windermere, FL., mansion anytime soon. The links legend's spouse is reportedly being paid a hefty seven-figure amount -- immediately transferred into an account she alone controls -- to stick with her husband.

On top of that, my source indicated Elin Nordegren Woods, the mother of Tiger's two children, has demanded -- and is getting -- a total rewrite on the couple's prenuptial agreement making the incentives for her to remain Mrs. Tiger Woods even more enticing.

At this point, the couple needed to remain married for 10 years in order for Woods' wife to collect a splitsville settlement of $20 million. I'm being told that time frame has been shortened -- and the dollar amount increased "substantially."

This morning, Rachel Uchitel, the woman at the center of the Tiger Woods scandal, denied the whole affair to the New York Post, just as she did when the National Enquirer asked her about her relationship with Woods. Now, not only has another woman stepped forward to claim a 31-month affair -- Jaimee Grubbs, who was on VH1's "Tool Academy," go figure -- but police are expected to charge Woods this afternoon with perhaps driving under the influence. Remember, Tiger was apparently on pain killers when he crashed his Escalade into a fire hydrant and tree next to his house in Windermere, Fla. Stay tuned for updates.

UPDATE: According to the AP: The Florida Highway Patrol says it will issue Tiger Woods a careless driving citation for a car crash outside his Orlando-area mansion last week. Maj. Cindy Williams said Tuesday that will close the investigation and no criminal charges are being pursued. Woods faces a $164 fine.

We'll point out, by the way, that Uchitel first made the papers following Sept. 11, when her fiance was killed in the collapse of the South Tower of the World Trade Center. A photograph of her looking distraught wandering the streets of New York looking for her fiance appeared in publications around the world. She got married in 2004, but that didn't last long. Stuck in a turkey-induced stupor all weekend? Here's what you might have missed:

• Tiger Woods canceled yet another interview with the Windermere, Fla., police on Sunday and released a statement that said: "This situation is my fault, and it's obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I'm human and I'm not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn't happen again." You should be picking up on the double meaning. While it sounds like it's about the car accident that occurred in early Friday morning in which Tiger hit a fire hydrant and tree just outside of his house, the "situation" he's talking about is of course that he (allegedly) cheated on his smoking hot wife Elin with New Yorker Rachel Uchitel, who denies last week's report in the National Enquirer saying as much.

Tiger Woods and his blazing wife Elin welcomed their second child into the world Sunday with the birth of son Charlie Axel Woods, who has pretty much the coolest name ever. Charlie joins Sam Alexis Woods in the best-looking, longest-driving, and most-rolling-in-cash family in the entire gated community of Isleworth, Fla. (or anywhere else for that matter). Congrats Tiger. Now get your ass to Augusta.

Today's New York Times story about Tiger Woods' road back to the PGA Tour included a round-up of just what he's been up to all this time: rehabbing his knee, hitting as many golf balls as possible, speaking at the Inaugural Concert, playing with daughter Sam, waiting for he and his wife Elin's second child to be born, keeping tabs on the golf courses he's building, and checking the weather at Torrey Pines.

Only at the end of the story do we learn how the writer actually got access to Tiger to ask him a few questions: surprise, surprise he's hyping the release of EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA Tour '09. But check out what he did in the name of promotion.  Keep Reading »
