The BroBible Top 5 Hottie Index returns today -- as it does every Friday -- with babes who have been making waves in the news and tabloids this past week. Today, I am pinch hitting for Mr. T as he is currently busy binge drinking and enjoying his snow day (actually, he's stuck somewhere between O'Hare and travel purgatory). Prick. Anyway, the hot boxes below all made this list for various reasons but there is definitely a glaring theme of sex this week. But isn't there always with us? All men love sex. To keep track of which chicks are currently bringing the heat, we've decided to launch a new weekly column: The BroBible Top 5 Hottie Index. In order to make our index, the celebrity, athlete, or other notable hottie in question needs to be relevant at this moment and tearing up the headlines. So while Marisa Miller would be welcome to play around in my sheets on any given night, she takes a back seat to the women being shoved down our throats this week -- or currently newsworthy enough that you'd like to shove something down theirs. SportsCenter needs some filler with football season over and ESPN is pushing Danica right into your living room. Patrick will be running in this weekends Nationwide race at Daytona, so expect the coverage of her NASCAR debut to be overblown. That's no problem for us, as the petite Patrick is the only hot box riding in a motor vehicle these days. We showed you the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue late last night, and now it's time to take a look inside the greatest magazine issue of the year. We've only just begun to crack the surface of SI.com/swimsuit and could probably spend the entire day going through that site, looking at photos, watching videos, and dreaming of Brooklyn Decker. What have we discovered so far?

At first glance, the 2010 edition seems to be a lot tamer than in years past. This isn't to say that the girls are any less beautiful -- they're as gorgeous as ever. But there seems to be a little less skin, a little less nipple, a little less ass, a little less provocation, a little less over the top. Last year's signature move of girls pulling down their bikini bottom strings, for example, is almost nowhere to be found. None of that means there are not amazing shots to be found. We've just started going through the main model shots (there are 45 for each girl), and are bringing you in this post some of the stalwarts: Brooklyn Decker, Bar Refaeli (above), Hilary Rhoda, Jessica White, Esti Ginzburg, Daniella Sarahyba, Cintia Dicker, and Anne V. We're only excerpt a few shots for each girl; SI has made it more difficult this year to share their shots outside of their website, which is understandable considering how much time and effort goes into making this issue each year. Point being, enjoy this small taste of the Swimsuit Issue, but then head over to SI.com to really get the full experience -- and head to the newsstand and get the real thing, just like in seventh grade!  Keep Reading »

The gorgeous Brooklyn Decker has been unveiled by David Letterman as the cover model for the 2010 issue of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. After Bar Refaeli took the honor last year, it's little surprise that Decker would claim the newsstands this year. You can check out the actual reveal on "Dave" tonight.

We'll be providing wall-to-wall coverage this week, but we thought we'd get you pumped up for the 2010 edition with a look back at some of our favorite shots from over the years. There will be a special emphasis on the 2009 edition, but you'll see some classic shots sprinkled in among the new fare. Each post will be themed: Earlier we shared with you our favorite topless (and sometimes bottomless) swimsuit beauties and our favorite below-the-waist shots. One of our favorite new Twitterers is Brooklyn Decker, who, at least via her Tweets, seems as chill and fun as she is blazingly hot. Andy Roddick is a very lucky man. Brooklyn frequently Tweets about new photos, interviews, and videos featuring her (she always seems so excited about them, too, which is kind of charming considering she's an S.I. cover girl), and over the weekend she linked to some b-roll footage of her Victoria's Secret Swimwear shoot on Necker Island.
